Launching Your Film.

Where you will hold the premier of your film?

Europe
starting in London, Paris, Rome, Madrid.





Who will you invite to the premier?

  • Actors in the film,
  • Artists on the soundtrack,
  • Young actors/actresses that it may appeal to,
  • Family members to the stars.

Where will you advertise your film?

  • Billaboards
  • Tv trailers
  • Cinema trailers
  • Magazine advertisments
  • Internet ( social networking, youtube ect.)
  • Public transport ( buses, taxis, trains)



Have you run a teaser campaign in the build up to release?


Yes, i would put posters on billaboards around london prior to release, i would also make a short trailer to put out on the web before the final trailer is released.
What competitions will you be running ?

There will be a selection of competitions for both younger audience and older audiences, for the younger audience there will be competitions such as having the chance to meet the stars, for the older audiences there will be a chance to win a trip to the place where the film is produced.
What merchandise will support your film?

There will be merchandise Relationship jewellery, love items such as heart shaped pillows, and cups and other items that can be sold as special edition at the cinema.

How will you use your stars to promote your film?

The stars of my films will be asked to do tv, magazine and radio interviews to promote the film, they will be asked to do interview junkets and photoshoots.
What shows, magazine interviews, radio and web will be most beneficial and therefore targeted?

The shows that will be most targeted will be teenage channels such as Channel 4, E4 4 music, MTV and E!.
The magazines it will be advertised in would be Vogue, Star, Heat and other celebrity magazines.
Radio shows that it is likely to be advertised on is Capital, Radio 1 and Jack FM.
It will be advertised on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Youtube and Tumblr.

Feedback

How do you feel the trailer was successful?
  • Successful by telling the story but editing could have been higher quality.
  • Worked well with the music, montage of photos was effective, gave a pre-warning.
